What is Copare?
Copare is a shared workspace for separated or divorced co-parents. It brings messaging, a custody calendar, document storage, shared-expense payments and calls into one account, so you are not piecing together texts, email, spreadsheets and separate payment apps.
Is Copare legal advice, and will a court accept my records?
No. Copare is not a law firm, court, mediator or therapist. Its exports are a clear record of what was said, scheduled and paid, but we do not promise that any court or agency will accept or give weight to a record. Talk to a qualified professional about your situation.
Do both parents need an account?
Copare works between two co-parents who are matched to each other with a Match ID. On the Signature plan, your matched co-parent also gets a free linked Core account.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time in your account settings, or through the billing portal linked there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.
Can I get a refund?
Fees are non-refundable and we do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires. If you believe you were charged in error, email us and we will review it. The full policy is on the Refund and Cancellation page.
How are payments handled?
Subscription payments and Copare Pay payments between co-parents are processed by Stripe. Copare does not store your card or bank details, and does not hold your money.
