What you are buying

Copare is a subscription software service (a website and mobile apps) for co-parents. We sell digital access only. There are no physical goods, so there is nothing to ship and no returns. The plans, their features and their prices are listed on the plans page.

Billing and renewal

  • Paid plans (Core, Plus and Signature) are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose at sign-up, in US dollars.
  • Plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. We charge the payment method you gave us, plus any taxes that apply.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card or bank details.
  • If a payment fails we may retry it, and we may limit or suspend paid features until it is resolved.
  • If we change a price or a plan, we give notice and the change applies from your next billing period.

Free trials and codes

A coupon or trial code may start a free period. When it ends, your payment method is charged unless you cancel before then.

How to cancel

  • Sign in and open your account settings, or use the billing portal linked there, and choose to cancel.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
  • If you cannot sign in, email support@copare.net from the address on your account and we will help.

Refunds

  • Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable, and we do not refund partial or unused periods, including when you cancel part-way through a period.
  • If you believe you were charged in error (for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled in time), email support@copare.net with the email address on your account and the date of the charge. We will review it and, where we agree it was a mistake, correct it.
  • Refunds we agree to are returned to the original payment method. Your bank decides how long it takes to appear.

Disputes and chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most problems can be settled quickly by email.

Copare Pay payments between co-parents

Copare Pay lets one co-parent pay or reimburse the other. Those payments are between you and your co-parent and are processed by Stripe. Copare does not hold the money and cannot refund a payment on a co-parent's behalf. A payment may be delayed, held or reversed by Stripe or the banks, for example for verification or a failed bank debit. A processing fee applies to Copare Pay payments, at a rate that depends on your plan.

Eligibility

Copare is for adults aged 18 or over. The full eligibility rules are in our Terms of Service.
